The Three Basic Types of Resumes
There are many types of resumes ... creative formats that defy any category but that are clever and have worked for some people. I've seen hand-written resumes (usually not a good idea); unusual paper colors, sizes, and shapes; resumes with tasteful drawings and borders; and lots of other ideas. Some were well done and well received; other were not.
To keep this simple, I'm going to discuss only the three most useful types of resumes:
