Dr. Eleanor Flanigan

Dr. Eleanor Flanigan is a Professor of Management and Information Systems in the School of Business at Montclair State University in New Jersey. Dr. Flanigan received her Doctorate and Master of Education in Business from Temple University in Philadelphia. She graduated summa cum laude for both degrees. She has given over one hundred presentations both nationally and internationally.

Dr. Flanigan’s awards include the following:

• Montclair State University Alumni Association Educator of the Year (2004)
• Delta Pi Epsilon Honors Award at both Ed.D. and M.Ed. graduations for attainment of the highest average in graduate studies
• Fellowship in Vocational Rehabilitation Administration at Columbia, Teachers College
• Eastern Business Education Association Teacher of the Year (1978)

Her business experiences include

• Corporate Accounts representative for Ashton-Tate, 1985-1988
• International Marketing Director in the United Kingdom and Western Europe for MultiMate International, 1983-1985
• System Analyst for General Electric Company
• Director of Anti-Poverty Action Commission of Philadelphia
• General Electric Co. Corporate Advisor to Philadelphia Model Cities Programs

Dr. Flanigan is the author of Create Your Digital Portfolio (JIST) and MultiMate Advantage II: An Integrated Approach to Learning Word Processing (McGraw-Hill).

Dr. Flanigan's recent consulting activities include projects with two major New Jersey corporations.
